By downloading, installing, or using the CitizenAce mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms within the app or on our website. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

CitizenAce is a mobile application designed to help users prepare for the Canadian citizenship test. The Service provides:

Free and Premium Tiers

The Service offers both free and premium tiers. Free users have access to limited content (Chapters 1-3, select quizzes and mock tests). Premium subscribers unlock all content and features.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We cannot process refunds directly.

Promotional Codes

Promotional codes may be offered from time to time. Codes are subject to specific terms, including expiration dates and usage limits. Codes cannot be combined or exchanged for cash.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CitizenAce and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Our Content

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service or included content without our express written permission.

User Content

Any data you provide through the Service (such as quiz responses) remains yours. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use this data to provide and improve the Service.

Government Materials

Content derived from Canadian government publications (such as Discover Canada) is used in accordance with the Government of Canada's terms of use for Crown copyright materials.

No Guarantee of Results: While we strive to provide accurate and helpful study materials, we cannot guarantee that using the Service will result in passing the Canadian citizenship test. Success depends on many factors including individual effort and the actual test content at the time of your exam.

Content Accuracy: We make reasonable efforts to keep our content accurate and up-to-date. However, citizenship test requirements and content may change. Always verify current requirements with official IRCC resources.

"As Is" Basis: The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CitizenAce and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CitizenAce regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
